WOW! provider overview
What we like
Free installation – Order online and you can take advantage of free installation – a $50 value. Not only that, but next-day installation is also available to new residential customers who call before noon ET on the day prior to the installation.
High customer satisfaction – WOW! features award-winning customer service that’s available whenever you need them.
Things to consider
Only uses cables in most areas – In some areas, WOW! uses a combination of fiber-optic and cable lines to deliver faster speeds. However, in most areas WOW! uses just coaxial cables, which is a little slower and less reliable than fiber optic.
Data caps – Plans between 100 and 300 Mbps download speeds will get 1.5TB of data each month, the 500 Mbps plan will get 2.5TB and the Gigabit plan will get 3TB.
Limited to the south and Midwest – Although WOW! is the sixth largest provider in the country, its availability is limited to a handful of states.
